Holy Monday

Welcome to Holy Monday. We start this week by reading Matthew 21:12. You know the verse where Jesus flips the tables, yeah... that one. We talk about WHY those tables were flipped and it wasn't because they were selling things, but HOW they were selling things. They were preying on individuals' faith. Then we go on a few verses and talk about when Jesus cursed a fig tree. It leads a discussion on doing things out of selfish ambition yet wearing a Christian name tag. Today, our call to action is to check your heart posture: is it aligned with Jesus and His word? Or is your heart postured as self-serving? We will see you tomorrow as we dive into John 12 for Holy Tuesday.
