Welcome to Maundy Thursday. There is a lot to unpack in this episode leading up to Good Friday. Some may know this day based on the famous picture by Leonardi DaVinci "The Last Supper". But what happened on this day is community. We see Jesus lay out the game plan for what will come. He then washes the disciples' feet. It was a big deal to wash someone's feet because it was a task done by servants. After Jesus speaks to the disciples about communion, Judas or, well, what my wife says, Jud-ass, have the devil enter him. on fellowship with one another as we prepare for what is to come.
Today, our call to action is to grab your elements for communion and finish this episode taking communion as we read through as a family.
