Light Your Lamp the origin story: taking you on a ride through how we got here and where were going

You may know about our podcast; since you are here, you know about our youtube channel. What you may not know is Why. As we scroll aimlessly from one video to the next, we never stop and ask why this is on here. What is the heart behind what they are doing? Sure, some are to entertain and bring in loads of cash. That's not us. Light Your Lamp is a registered 501 c(3) aiming to go out online and into local communities and spread the Gospel. Yea, yea, I hear you. Aren't people already doing that? The simple answer is yes, but they alone are not enough; go ahead and ask them. There need to be more authentic people talking about Jesus, and the few mega pastors or influencers available to us online are not enough. We were all called to the great commission, not just those select few. Where we step in is helping people restore their identity. We do that through scripture readings, passing out Bibles, spending time with lost and broken people, and looking for the light Jesus has for them. Were simply vessels being used by God to do KINGDOM work. In the video, we talk about how we got to where we are now and, just as importantly, how you can be a part of this movement.
